Next Week On General Hospital: January 15, 2018

In today’s soaps, there is truly no other character that is more tortured than Ava Jerome. The femme fatale hasn’t gotten a lot of love despite her pure awesomeness. That may change next week when Ava gets an special episode dedicated to her.

Ava, brilliantly portrayed by acting goddess Maura West, almost immediately developed a trove of devoted fans when she sashayed into Port Charles in 2013. Sure she was a bad girl but there was something to admire about her strength, intelligence and ferocious approach to getting what she wanted. Yet, for whatever reason, it seemed that the powers that be didn’t quite grasp how refreshing it was to see such a strong female character on General Hospital. I can personally say that watching Ava be declawed, bullied, abused and burned alive has not been fun. While Ava’s recent romance with Griffin has got me intrigued, I’m not as thrilled about her current lack of confidence.

On the 17th, Ava will take a look into her past as she goes under the knife to have to the last of her scares removed. Will Ava – and the show – be able to finally let go of a few of the skeletons in her closet? Here’s hoping! Either way, I’m sure the audience will be entertained.┬áRemember to tune in daily and set your DVRs!

The lack of Friz spoilers is depressing.

I,m tired of the fact that Roger is being underused. I want more of Franco and Liz, less of Sonny and Carly, this show should actually be called the Sonny and Carly show.

Looking forward to more Anna and Finn as they work so well together as actors.Loved today’s (Monday) show with the interactions between Anna and Finn,Anna and Felicia and Alexis and Finn. The Faison story is lacklustre at the moment and here’s hoping it picks up.I don’t really care about Joss and Oscar as they exist in a bubble and are cute at times but lack something:give Molly and TJ any day.
